An Introduction to Meditation

A Summer Reset with

Teachings from Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield

A structured guided journey to find more Peace, Power and Purpose for anyone ready to find more stillness, clarity and compassion in everyday life.

Find Peace, Power and Purpose.

Does this sound familiar?

Life is full. The mind is busy. And somewhere in the noise, you may have lost touch with something quieter inside yourself.

"My mind is constantly racing. I find it hard to switch off even when I want to."

"I feel anxious or overwhelmed more than I would like, and I do not know how to work with it."

"I want to be more present with myself, with the people I love and in my work."

"I am curious about meditation but do not know where to begin, or whether I am doing it right."

“I know meditation would help me, but I cannot get a practice to stick on my own."

""I have heard of Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield and I would like to explore their teachings."

The present moment is always here. We simply need to learn how to return to it.

A gentle, structured entry point into mindfulness meditation

This is not a generic mindfulness course. It is an 8-week invitation to explore your own mind, emotions and body with curiosity, kindness and the guidance of two of the world's most respected meditation teachers.

No prior experience is needed. Whether you have never meditated before or have tried and struggled to build consistency, this course offers a safe, structured container to begin and to return to yourself.

All within a small, trusted group of fellow seekers, held by a facilitator who has walked the path herself.

This course draws directly on the teachings of Tara Brack and Jack Kornfields who are two of the world's leading mindfulness teachers and psychologists. As part of Lauren's two-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program. If you have ever listened to Tara's podcast, read Jack's books, or simply felt drawn to their approach, this is a living introduction to their work.

Find Peace

Mindfulness of Breath and Body

  • Anchor your awareness in the present moment by returning, again and again, to the natural rhythm of the breath. The breath is our most reliable refuge from a busy mind.

  • Scan the body with curious, non-judging attention, learning to feel what is here rather than thinking about what should be different

  • Discover the breath as a living bridge between body and mind, as a doorway into stillness that is always available, no matter what the day has brought.

Returning home to the present moment

Reclaim Your Power

Mindfulness of Thoughts and Emotions

  • Learn to recognise thoughts as passing mental events rather than fixed truths by observing the stories the mind creates without being swept away by them.

  • Meet difficult emotions with a R.A.I.N practice by transforming the way you relate to fear, self-doubt and overwhelm.

  • Discover the space between stimulus and response, where your freedom as a coach, and as a human being, truly lives.

    Meeting experience with openness

Work with Purpose

Mindfulness of Your Presence and Compassion

  • Cultivate the quality of attention you bring into the coaching space by learning to arrive fully, listen deeply, and meet your clients from a place of genuine stillness rather than effortful doing.

  • Explore how your own unmet needs, unexamined fears and habitual patterns can quietly shape the coaching container and how presence is the practice of seeing them clearly, with compassion.

  • Discover that true coaching presence is not just a technique to master but a way of returning to the here and now easily.

Arriving fully in your own life

What to expect

Every session follows the same calming rhythm so you can arrive, settle, and be fully present from the moment you join.
