Self-Leadership for High Performance

A talk to increase self-awareness, shift mindset, and inform on burnout prevention. I connect the dots between well-being and performance with neuroscience, emotional intelligence, business psychology, and mindfulness.

People do what you do, not what you say. And only 5% of your thoughts, feelings, and actions are conscious. The other 95% run on autopilot, driven by your nervous system's stress responses. For managers, this means their leadership patterns, reactions, and decisions are being shaped by systems they don't even know are running, and this is influencing their team's behaviour.

This keynote reveals the neuroscience behind emotional regulation and unlocks new self-awareness to manage emotions in a way which drives higher engagement and higher performance in Managers and their teams.

What your managers will learn:

  • The Biology of Stress Management

  • How to unlock your Self-Leadership for high-performance & well-being

  • How design your own journey to higher mental and emotional resilience

When managers understand themselves better they can:

  • New Self-Awareness

  • Have connected dots on challenges you may be facing today

  • And more insights to better coach your team on well-being for performance

Why Self-Leadership Matters

Most leadership training focuses on what managers do. This keynote reveals how they operate, the 95% running beneath awareness that shapes everyday decisions and actions.

Your managers leave with science-backed self-awareness that immediately changes their perspective on themselves and their relationship with their teams.

The result? One step close to having more empathetic, self-aware leaders who make intentional decisions, build stronger, more loyal teams, and drive better results.

Hi, I’m Lauren

I guide Leaders to develop Self-Leadership skills because people do what you do, not what you say! You can learn all the frameworks you want in the world, ultimately how you feel and the way you show up will define how others shows up for you.

After 11 years in international Tech Sales at companies like LinkedIn, Equinix, and Rackspace, I learned the hard way what happens when you ignore your feelings and your body's stress signals. Burnout, divorce, health crisis, and a complete collapse of my life as I knew it. This led me to start a journey of self-discovery to understand how I could recover and prevent this from happening again.

Now, as an ICF Executive Coach (PCC), HeartMath Coach, and corporate Leadership trainer, I bridge emotional intelligence with business acumen. I teach founder and Leaders across Europe the self-regulation skills that prevent burnout, improve engagement and team dynamics to drive sustainable high performance.

I founded The Self-Science Lab because I wish someone had taught me this science before I crashed. Now I teach it to others, so they don't have to learn it the way I did.
