After 11 years in international tech sales at companies like LinkedIn, Equinix, and Rackspace, I learned the hard way what happens when you ignore your body's stress signals. Burnout, divorce, health crisis, and a complete collapse of my life as I knew it. This led me to start a journey of self-discovery to understand how I could recover and prevent this from happening again. 

Now, as an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), HeartMath Coach, and corporate trainer, I bridge therapeutic depth with business credibility. I teach managers across Europe the self-regulation skills that prevent burnout, improve team dynamics, and drive sustainable high performance.

I founded The Self-Science Lab because I wish someone had taught me this science before I crashed. Now I teach it to others, so they don't have to learn it the way I did.

My Story

From Tech Sales to Self-Science

For 11 years, I thrived in high-pressure tech sales roles at LinkedIn, Equinix, and Rackspace. I was great at my job. I hit my targets consistently. But underneath the success, my nervous system was screaming and I had no idea.

When burnout finally hit, it didn't look like I expected. It wasn't just exhaustion, it was a complete nervous system shutdown. My body forced me to stop in a way my mind never would have allowed. I developed severe acne and couldn't digest food. I lost 10kg. My entire body ached all the time.

During my recovery, rest wasn't enough. I needed to understand why this happened to prevent it from happening again. More importantly, I wanted to understand it at a scientific level so I could teach others. Why do high-performers burn out? Why does stress impact some people more than others? And most importantly, can we prevent it?

The Science That Changed Everything

On my journey of recovery, self-study and professional training, I understood that my burnout wasn't a failure of willpower or character, it was highly influenced by a nervous system that had been in survival mode for years without me realising it. 

From Personal Recovery to Professional Mission

Once I understood the science, I couldn't unsee it. I saw it in every stressed person, every coaching client, every manager, every reactive leader, every high-performer heading toward the same crash I'd experienced.

So I founded The Self-Science Lab to teach others what I wish someone had taught me: the neuroscience of self-leadership, emotional resilience, and sustainable high performance.

Today, I work with managers and leaders across Europe, bringing science-backed methodologies to corporate environments. I'm not here to tell people to "relax more" or "practice self-care." I'm here to teach them how their nervous system actually works and give practical tools to self-regulate under pressure, return to a state of balance, and build higher emotional resilience capacity to model this in your teams.
